is a young and dedicated surgical professional working in both oncology assistance and general surgical services. With a foundational background in general surgery and early exposure to oncology cases, he supports the senior onco surgical team in preoperative, intraoperative, and post-operative care. Additionally, he is actively involved in emergency surgical care and on-call duties at the hospital.
Area of expertise
1. Assistance in oncologic surgeries (head and neck, GI, breast, etc.)
2. Emergency general surgery evaluation and management
3. Basic surgical procedures and wound care
4. Post-operative monitoring and care coordination
5. On-call consultation for acute surgical cases
Current Role
At St. Joseph’s Hospital, Dr. Arun provides vital support in the Surgical Oncology Department and responds to emergency surgical cases as needed. His commitment to timely intervention and teamwork ensures continuity of care, especially during critical and off-hour situations.
