With six years of experience as both a clinician and professor, he combines advanced clinical knowledge with a commitment to patient-centered care and education. His practice emphasizes early diagnosis, personalized treatment strategies, and long-term management of chronic rheumatologic conditions.

As a Consultant Rheumatologist and Professor at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Dr. Surendran provides both outpatient and inpatient care for patients with complex rheumatologic disorders. He is also involved in academic training, mentoring young physicians and medical students in the field of rheumatology, and promoting awareness on autoimmune diseases.
