In a groundbreaking surgical procedure, Dr. Ankit Jose from St. Joseph's Hospital manjummel has become the first surgeon in X to utilize Hyalofast for repairing a chondral lesion in the knee. Thiis is the first time this case is being performed in Kerala.

Hyalofast, a biodegradable, non-woven scaffold composed of hyaluronic acid, is designed to support the entrapment of mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) for the repair of chondral and osteochondral lesions.
